My stay at The Seelbach Hilton was a mix of wonderful moments and frustrating ones. The historical ambiance was stunning and the staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel well cared for. However, the dining options were disappointing, with limited choices that didn't meet my expectations for a luxury hotel.

Rooms
5.0
I found my room small and lacking amenities, especially with only one chair, which made it uncomfortable for both my husband and me. The air conditioning was also quite loud.
Service
9.0
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, truly caring about my stay from start to finish, which made a significant difference.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, right across from Fourth Street Live and close to The Louisville Palace Theater, making it convenient for my evening plans.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining options did not impress me, especially with the only breakfast choice being a $20 buffet that didn't cater to lighter appetites like mine. I expected more variety and quality.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were decent, but I was disappointed that in-room dining wasn't available, as I needed good coffee during my stay.

6.2/10

I enjoyed the historic charm of The Seelbach Hilton, but my overall experience was marred by several issues. While the location was perfect for exploring Louisville, the noise from nearby events was quite disruptive during my stay. The service in the restaurant also didn't meet my expectations, especially considering my status as a Gold member.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms had character and charm, but they felt a bit dated and cramped. The bed was comfortable, though the overall decor seemed in need of a refresh.
Service
5.0
The staff was generally courteous, but the restaurant service was slow and lacking attention, which was disappointing for my daily breakfasts.
Location
9.0
The central location on Fourth Street gave me easy access to restaurants and nightlife, making it ideal for my short stay.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown; the breakfast buffet didn't impress, and they ran out of spinach during my three-day stay, which was unexpected.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel provided basic amenities like room service and valet parking, but the lack of a mini-fridge in the room was a downside.

My stay at The Seelbach Hilton was nice due to its rich history and beautiful architecture, but it wasn't without flaws. The location is prime, providing easy access to entertainment, though the room I stayed in was a bit lacking in terms of space and natural light. The service was fantastic, with friendly staff, but the dining experience was average at best.

Rooms
8.0
My room was beautifully appointed with historical charm, but I found it small and a bit dark, especially since two windows faced brick walls. The beds were comfortable, however, and I had no trouble sleeping due to its quiet atmosphere.
Service
10.0
I can't rave enough about the service I received. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. Little details, like having my coffee refreshed, made a big difference.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic! It's right in the heart of downtown, making it super convenient for a night out. Despite being so central, my room was surprisingly quiet, which was a pleasant surprise.
Dining
6.0
While I expected more from the dining options, they were just average. I was disappointed that there weren’t freshly cooked eggs and I could barely find croissants during breakfast.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered several amenities like room service and valet parking, which were helpful. I did find the parking situation a bit confusing, but overall, the facilities met my needs.

My stay at The Seelbach Hilton Louisville was a mix of charm and some necessary updates. The location was absolutely ideal for celebrating New Year's Eve downtown, and the beautiful decor added to the festive spirit. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated, and I found some practical issues with the suite layout that could use improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The suite on the executive floor was spacious but had only one mirror in the bathroom, which was inconvenient for two people. The overall lighting in the room was quite low and there was a lack of cupboard space.
Service
9.0
The staff were friendly and attentive, from the bell staff to the check-in process. They made sure my experience was pleasant and hassle-free, which I appreciated.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown. I could easily walk to several great restaurants and the New Year's Eve festivities on 4th Street Live.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The selection was average for a Hilton, and I noticed that on Sunday there were no croissants available, which was a letdown.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel offered standard amenities like room service and valet parking, I noticed the facilities had an older feel that didn't quite match the five-star expectations.

The Seelbach Hilton Louisville is steeped in history and charm, with a beautiful architectural structure and a great location. though I faced some challenges during my stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially at the bar, where I enjoyed some fantastic drinks. However, the room was smaller than expected and the bathroom was quite cramped, which detracted from my overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
The Queen Room was clean and comfortable, but the size was disappointing. The bathroom was tiny, lacking basic amenities like extra towels and toiletries.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally helpful, but I found some to be less welcoming. Although I enjoyed a good conversation with one, there were instances of surliness at the front desk.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located near eateries and distilleries, though the surrounding area could feel a bit off. I appreciated being so close to Fourth Street Live.
Dining
6.0
I found the breakfast options limited and somewhat overpriced for what was offered. The hotel's bourbon bar was a highlight, but overall, the dining experience could have been better.
Facilities
6.0
Though the hotel offers various amenities like room service and valet parking, I struggled to find basic facilities, like the ice machine, and faced parking charges that felt excessive.
